PTC Fundraising

The Buckeye Parent Teacher Club, Inc. is very active in fundraising. Through the efforts of the PTC many education programs, school ammenities and community activities have been made possible. Buckeye PTC carries out a variety of ongoing fundraising activities:

Raising Funds for Fieldtrips with Coffee Mugs!
To help offset the cost of fieldtrips Buckeye PTC is offering Buckeye School coffee mugs for sale in the school office. The cost is $8 each of which $4 will go directly into an account for fieldtrips. These attractive coffee mugs will show your school spirit and they make great gifts as well. Pick yours up today!

eScrip & Scrip
eScrip & Scrip costs you nothing and benefits Buckeye school tremendously. Many stores and businesses participate in an eScrip or Scrip program, donating a percentage of your purchases to our school. All you have to do is register your shopping card and select Buckeye Elementary as your designated school. Safeway, Target, Nugget & Food 4 Less, and Raley’s all participate if you register with them.

BOXTOP$ for Education
Remember to cut out those pink BOX TOP$ for Education coupons, save them and turn them in to your child’s teacher. You’ll see the coupons (shown above) on many grocery and paper products. The PTC Box Tops for Education coordinators exchange the coupons for money for our school and the class that collects the most coupons wins a fun pizza lunch.

Grant Writing
Beginning in 2011 a group of Buckeye parents and teachers established the Buckeye Grant Committee. Triggered by hard economic times and increasingly smaller school budgets, this group has set out to learn about grant writing and how to identify grants that may be a good match for Buckeye School.
